2013

December meeting. Please remember that this meeting is one week earlier than usual. Join us for our traditional pre-Christmas meeting on Friday 13 December 2013 at 7.30pm when Chris Upton (always an interesting speaker) will be talking about ‘Entertainment in the 18th Century.’ This will be followed by mince pies and other seasonal fayre.

2014

January meeting. As the next AGM and Supper has been moved to Friday 21 March 2014 the meeting on Friday, 17 January 2014 will now be a normal evening meeting, when Deborah Hayter will be describing “The 17th Century Village” and asking “Who was in charge?” Tickets for the Supper will be on sale at this meeting and that in February; the ticket price will be confirmed in the January newsletter.

February meeting. Brian Lewis will be telling us about ‘Norton: the School and the Foundation – the origin and outcome of Kineton’s Approved School’

The Group’s programme card for 2014-15 will be available at this meeting, when annual subscriptions (still £7-50 per person) will be due. There will also be a second opportunity to purchase tickets for the Annual Supper

AGM and Supper. As mentioned above, our 26th AGM and Supper will now be held on Friday 21 March 2014 beginning at 7.00pm (and not as scheduled on your current programme card).

Advance notice. On Saturday 12 April 2014 at 2.00pm there will be an open meeting of Southam’s Cardall Collection, featuring a Feldon Archaeology Society talk and exhibition on Burton Dassett at the Graham Adams Centre, Southam. There will be a small entrance fee to cover costs.
